What our students say
Jacinta Spiller
GCSE English and GCSE Maths “Coming back into education after 15+ years was a daunting choice to make, but all the staff I met on my course made it such a smooth and easy transition. The support that you receive from the teachers is great and they truly go out of their way to make sure you understand and achieve your goals.”
Michelle Williams Level 3 Software Development and Level 3 Games Technologies
“When I first started, I looked at data-related roles like data analyst or data engineer because those were the jobs available when I was job searching. But with the variety of courses the College offers, I can explore different career paths. I plan to complete a Higher National Diploma (HND), which will open up even more job opportunities.”
Jonny Bond
Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Higher Apprenticeship
“Our tutor Emma is really supportive, always making sure we’re on task and prepared for our next assignments. Our shift patterns are sporadic, but having everything available whenever we have time has been really helpful. There’s no pressure – you can work at your own pace, which is great for people balancing work and family life.”
Levi Sanderson
Level 2 Dog Grooming “I worked as a dental nurse but returned to College to change careers. I now own my own business, Only Pets Groom Room, and work part-time. The course allowed me to gain valuable hands-on experience at the College’s fully equipped grooming salon, with a variety of dog breeds. I hope to return to College to study Level 3 Dog Grooming.”
